It was our first Thanksgiving as the Love Family!!! We went to MA to visit my mother, brother and extended fam!  We had a blast! We started out the morning with a 5K Turkey Trot.  Then we went home to put on our matching outfits!

Thanksgiving day trail run – nothing better! This course was wet and muddy so I had to throw on some Injinji socks inside of my FiveFingers. The race had like 1240 people in it which is insane for a trail race. There was a lot of elbow bumping through the first couple miles until the crowds had spread out.

Overall, this was a blast! I won’t get to run it next year as we’ll be in Omaha, but I’ll be back in two years to re-run this thing for sure.

The Shearer’s came up for the weekend from Maryland!

It was the first time they have met Noah and we had a really good time. We went for a hike on Saturday up Kent Falls and down the adjacent trail on the other side of the falls.

Seriously, what the hell happened to father time?

On one hand, time has FLOWN by. On the other, when it’s 3a.m. and I’m patting his butt in his crib trying to get him to go back to sleep, time has been oh sooooo packed with activity!

He’s crawling now (sort of, arms are crawling 100%, legs maybe 50%)…he’s saying stuff (incoherent albeit, but clearly throws out DADDDDAAAAA!!!!!)…he’s got toof’s (when you become a parent you get to spell things wrong, and it’s awesome)…and I already have to lower his crib because his ninja skills are far advanced and he’s currently working on the trick of “throw body over crib edge and splat onto floor below” – NOT A COOL TRICK.
