All Fired Up

December 13, 2006 - Posted by Bobby - No Comments »

Bring on Santa, the tree is fired up. It smells delicious and only took a half bottle of booze. The sap tastes really good so I’m in the works to figure out how I can make syrup out of it when I’m finished abusing it for the next few weeks.

Operation: Christmas Tree

December 12, 2006 - Posted by Bobby - No Comments »

Since Wendi and I bought our first place and finally feel somewhat sort of settled, we decided we HAD to get a REAL Christmas tree this year. You see, growing up both of our families always had real trees, mine stopped in High School and Wendi’s stopped after her father’s passing when she was 9.

We were both pretty rusty, and to be honest I can’t even tell you what type of tree we bought…? All I know is it satisfied my needs to be green and “Fresh looking”. I think Wendi was sold when she felt the needles and they were amazingly soft. So we found the tree, bought a stand, bought some more ornaments and lights, and bought some bullshit liquid that is supposed to keep your tree alive for like 58 years. Seriously, why didn’t I think of that crap? Is anyone really ever going to test it – NO! You have the tree for like 4 weeks max and then it’s gone. I could just dillute miracle-gro, design some fancy “Tree-For-Eva” logo and wha-la! I’m an overnight gazillionarre.

Well anyways, here’s the tree. We will be decorating it in the next few days before I head to Omaha for a much needed vacation and to catch up with family and friends.
