As is typical with me, I am a week late posting these photos. So I’m sure we’re doing really bad ass this weekend as well, but you won’t find out until next weekend. That kinda sucks…

We went up to Kent Falls last weekend to hike and see the falls at least once more before they freeze for the winter. The falls are only about 20 minutes north of our condo, so it’s nice to have a gorgeous place like this in the backyard.

Kent Falls has some great hiking in and around the park so we checked some of that out until Bella decided she couldn’t (didn’t want to) walk anymore.

I’ll be posting photos of the white water trip to Caratunk, Maine last weekend over the next several days. I’ve become swamped with nine to five shit and the after hours work has picked up as well, so delays are inevitable.

We had a BLAST! The rapids were perfect, the camping was great, and Maine is one of the most spectacular camping experiences in the U.S. I’ll post more info over the next coming days.

Admittedly, his wildlife antics would have gotten most of us killed years ago, but I never expected Steve “The Crocodile Hunter” Irwin to die at the young age of 44 from the blow of a stingray’s barbed spike. Over the years he’s made me want to wrestle gators, kiss snakes, and most of all, enjoy the outdoors and its’ animals. That charismatic face never seemed to flinch even when tempting cobra’s or bare backing a gator, he was simply amazing. I truly feel we have all lost a very important person on this planet.

Rest In Peace, Steve Irwin. I will miss you.

Heading out this afternoon to Boston to get dropped off at Wendi’s moms. Getting up at 5am on Saturday morning and heading the extra five or so hours to the Dead River in Maine. Apparently they release the dam twice a year and Sunday, the day we are rafting all day, they release that sorry excuse for teh_creator_of_class_5_rapids.

Wendi is whining everyday since I booked her trip about how dangerous it will be and blah blah blah blah blah…..I cant wait til she has fun and gets over the stress; typical. I charged the camera and will take lots of camping photos.
