Had to make a quick trip back to Omaha last weekend. It was too fast to spend really good time with everyone, but I was happy to see some of the most important ones to me. Here’s a couple photos from the visit, I know I didn’t take too many photos, I suck.

***My mom turned 50! (SHHhhhh, don’t tell her I told you her age). I blacked out those goggles and took her to a secret little place***

***Honestly, the best little man I have ever met. I don’t get to see him enough, but hopefully that can change soon! Here JJ sits on momma’s baby bump. Britt will have the second baby in a week or so, so everyone keep her in your thoughts!***

It’s probably no suprise that most weekends this summer have been spent on Candlewood Lake on PJ’s boat. We typically go out to Chicken Rock and chill or sip beers, but lately that scene got old. I suggested we get a tube about a month ago and this weekend PJ pulled through with a $30 kiddie tube! We tore that tube up and to this minute I cannot move 28 muscle groups throughout my body. Ugh, the pains of getting older. Here are some pics….

***I have floppy feet. I sat in the tube, probably the worst idea in hind sight. PJ let the rope slack like 15 feet and then ripped tube from underneath me. My back has a three inch burn all across it.***

Not sure if you have seen The Dog Whisperer on National Geographic, but it is my latest obsession on TV. Cesar Millan, dog mind controller extraordinaire, takes dogs that are bound for the gas chamber and turns them into loving piles of fur in like a week. I’m pretty sure he was raised by wolves in the hills of California.

I’m heading to the dealership tomorrow to go pick up my new ride that I put a deposit on last week:

That’s right – the new Volkswagen Rabbit! I drove one last week with Wendi and it was a really fun car so I decided I needed one asap. I got the Candy White color like you see above with the black interior. Wendi is a bit jealous that I am getting a new car and she has to keep Julie the Jetta, but if you could see the way she drives and randomly hits things with her car, you would understand why a new car isn’t really up her alley right now.
