Connecticut Sundays

Wendi and I have always really dug Sunday’s. It’s just how we spend them that changes depending on where we are living that particular year! Well, this year it’s Connecticut and our Sunday’s are spent driving around in this gorgeous part of the country exploring where we live. Today we headed North, up to Kent and then around through Warren, Washington, and then back down home. Here are some shots:

***Our town sign – New Milford, Established in 1707.***

***We cruised by our town beach. It was actually really nice and only 40 bucks a year to be a member. We jacked the security guard and ran in, I ain’t payin 40 bucks – sucker. Wendi shot this picture and the exposure is all jacked, but I just LOVE Bella in the lower left looking out the window in the side view mirror.***

***Bulls Bridge in Kent, CT. An old ass covered bridge that is one lane and leads to some great hiking and waterfalls***

***These crazy rocks at Bulls Bridge. Big giant holes in them, people sitting in the watering holes they create.***

***The falls in all their glory, and some shady dude wading in the water in the lower right like a lone water buffalo.***

***The side of the covered bridge and the water running below.***

***The overlook on the other side of the falls. There were abot 30 people down stream just wading and swimming in the waters.***

***Lake Waramaug pretty nice lake near Washington, CT***

***Ending the day at Ferris Acres an awesome dairy farm that produces their own ice cream. It gets packed on Sunday evenings and its a real farm, like back home in Nebraska. Don’t believe me? Come on out and smell the poop as you eat your ice cream.***
