I’ll never forget the day we found your mom dead and how bad you and your brothers and sisters looked. We took you in because there was just something about your little 4 week old demeanor…you just tugged at the heart strings and I knew we could love you more than you ever knew was possible. We had you trained and you loved working with mom at the center and keeping the “bad” people from coming within 50 feet of the facility…Our mornings at the Grand Harbour in Grand Cayman were magic, I couldn’t get over how much you loved to swim. You have made so many friends – your Naijya, Bosley, Rasta, Morpheus, and the countless others. I’ve never met a better friend than you have become to me and your mommy.
I just want to say a good bye. And to let you know that the decision to send you to your new home was made purely out of logic and had nothing to do with my emotions of feelings. I would love to keep you forever, but you were meant to be working and protecting, not sitting in a kennel while we work 10+ hours a day…It’s just been killing me.
I’ll NEVER forget you and the way you made me smile. I hope you excel at your new job and get lots of love from your new owner. I’m so sorry…
