There’s something wonderful about the dog of your boyhood. This is Rambo, a German Wire Hair Pointer that I got when I was 11 years old. Throughout the years he’s been my friend, my hunting companion, and a really good dog. He’s 14 years old now; is slightly overweight, and gets mysterious lumps on his body that the vet calls fatty tumors. Five years ago he was diagnosed with thyroid disease 3 months before I was.
Through the years I’ve seen him grow into an old man all the while he’s been watching me become a man. It’s weird to think that by calculation he’s 98 in human years and sooner than later will probably be leaving me.

Vonnie is EXTREMELY popular with the Detective’s for the Omaha Police force. They threatened to arrest me when I was home if I didn’t show more pics of Vonnie…
Vonnie sent me an email today of some stupid pictures in gay-anada (Canada):

***Vonnie likes the giant penis-like structure in her rear…I mean to her rear***

***The Ianson’s kick ass! Mama Cho-Cho and the gang better get down here ASAP cuz I got a box full of Corona’s that I need help drinking on the beach***
NOTE TO VONNIE: The Detectives would like you to visit somewhere warmer where you have to wear less clothes, and take pics!!

I’ve been thinking lately (I know, sounds funny huh?). As many of you know I am a pretty sentimental guy who always tries to appreciate where my life has been and the encounters that shaped me.
I was on a walk this evening with Wendi and my trusty hound-a-dor and I had one of those moments of extreme happiness and thankfulness for my good life. Coming from a guy who changes his mind more times than Mike Tyson, and who’s soul is as restless as the Earth’s rotation; I am always impressed with my ability to have these moments.
Maybe it was the soft breeze that kept the mosquitos from malling us, or perhaps if was the way the sun was gently resting behind a stack of soft clouds peering with its vanilla rays onto the horizon towards us. I’m not sure, but it was beautiful. So many times I think people get strung up in the mundane everyday that we forget to appreciate all this world has to offer. Take a moment to call a family member, an old friend, take a walk, and just appreciate for one small minute. It makes a world of difference.
