I made a humorous post earlier this week (see below) about my dog ripping skin off of my ankles with her leash…well, once again my smart ass remarks don’t go unnoticed. Apparently the Caribbean is a great, moisture-rich environment that readily harbors and deploys various deadly bacteria. One of these voodoo bacterias has infiltrated my wounds on my ankles and has made my foot swell to double its original size. Today I have had to have my wounds scraped and scrubbed back open, had to ingest a bunch of pills, and get a massive shot in my left ass cheek. I QUIT (pictures to follow)

Every week it seems I do something dumb…this week is no exception:

Operation ANKLE RUBBAGE!
This is a fairly simple task to complete. Fist, attach high speed mut to 20ft leash and commence playing fetch with tennis ball. At some point, after dog is warmed up and operating at full speed, have dog sit on right side of you. Throw tennis ball as far as your weasle little arm can. Have dog take off – BEHIND YOU – and then burst forward from your left side at full speed, ripping every inch of the 20ft leash across the back of both of your ankles…pain will ensue

Ok, this is just fuckin wierd. We are sittin at a bar by Harvard and thinking of things to do. I say, “hey, I haven’t bowled in a while. Let’s do that!”. Everyone agrees and we go next door to see what the alley looks like…somethings not right.
First, I don’t see a bar. This is a huge a problem. Bowling without alcohol is like fishing; without alcohol. It just doesn’t make sense.
Second, what in the holy name of saint bowler are these twisted northeasterners throwing down the lane!? They do this thing called “candle pin bowling”. Basically the pins look like batons from a relay race, no curves; nothing but straight sticks. The balls are the size of shotput balls and weigh about the same. You get to throw three balls each round and the other rules are same as “normal” bowling. There has never been a perfect game thrown in this style of bowling (or so they told me) and I confirmed this by not getting one single strike! It is hard.
Oh yeah, the bar part was fixed by heading to the liqour store and nabbing a bunch of Jack Daniels 50ml bottles and mixing them with bowling lane bought 20oz Sprites…yummy

The little balls aggravate me…
